Dennis Chris Turinske, age 71, passed away at Aurora Summit Hospital with his family by his side on October 15, 2025. Dennis was born on December 23, 1953, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, the son of Christopher and Evelyn (nee Brandt).
Dennis found joy in his passions, particularly fishing, deer hunting, and his unwavering support for the Green Bay Packers. He had an immense appreciation for music; "Smoke on the Water" was his all-time favorite song and he reveled in attending various local music festivals alongside his wife, Susan. Dennis was also a handyman; he could fix about anything. Which came to use as he enjoyed working on cars in his spare time.
Dennis was a nurturing husband to Susan, and a wonderful father. Together, they shared countless memories, traveling to new destinations and exploring the world around them.
Dennis is survived by the love of his life, Susan; children Mindy and Matt; grandchildren Felicia, Xander and Taylor; along with many other loving family and friends.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; sister Rita; and brother David.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Aurora Hospital for their compassionate care. Our thanks also extend to close friend Megan Strangler, whose presence brought comfort during this time.
While there will be no formal services held, Dennis would have loved to see those who knew him celebrate life in a way that reflects his spirit-full of joy, laughter, and love. We encourage everyone to live life like Dennis did, with passion and heart, cherishing each moment and making lasting memories with family and friends.
