Dennis Russell Tyler

Dennis Russell Tyler, who resided in Springdale, Arkansas entered into the presence of our Lord on Monday, December 8, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 8, 1945, in Mansfield, AR to the late Jeptha Byron and Eunice Mae Caudle Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Dean Johnson and brother JB Tyler.

Den and Becky married on May 29, 1964, in Mansfield, AR. Soon after, Den joined the Army National Guard at Ft. Chaffee. Following basic training, he moved his young family to Ft. Smith and began working for Southwestern Bell Telephone. Over the years, he also worked for NCR, Welch's, Tyson Foods, and Lemke Wholesale before discovering his true passion as an engraver. He owned and operated D&R Engravers for 12 years before retiring.

Beyond his career, Den devoted himself to his family-coaching and cheering his sons in football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and track, and attending countless games, band concerts, and choir performances. He especially loved yelling for the Red Dogs in football. He then became a road warrior, chasing grands where he cheered the Saints, Purple Dogs, Mavericks, Comets, Lightning, and began going to shooting events, swim and gymnastic meets, volleyball games, martial arts, along with dance and ballet performances.

As faithful followers of Christ, Den and Becky served as bus captains at First Baptist Church (Cross Church) Springdale for 21 years, visiting their route weekly and bringing hundreds of children to church.

Den loved only one woman, and Becky only one man-for life, together.

Visitation will be held at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00PM.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday morning at 11:00AM at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor Russ Tyler officiating.

Den is survived by his wife of 61years, Becky Le (Laster) Tyler; three sons, Nick and wife Michele of Goshen, Scott and wife Stephanie of Tontitown, and Reverend Russ and wife Cheryl of Fort Smith; 14 grandchildren – David (Payton) Tyler, Drew (Liz) Tyler, Grace, Ruby, and Avery Gardner, Ashley (Walker) Akins, Jep (Katie) Tyler, Caed (Liv) Tyler, Erin (Wesley) Bradley, Zane Tyler, Kristen (Dave) Gean, Clay (Kayla) Tyler, Jake Tyler, Madi Tyler and 10 beautiful great grandchildren that he loved (Wade, Jayce, Ruby Kate, Ellowyn, Kennedy, Tripp, Hayes, Lyla, Riley, and Ariya Chauton and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews that loved him very much.

Pallbearers will be David, Jep, Clay, Drew, Caed, Jake, and Zane Tyler

We will have an open house after the Celebration of Life service at 1202 Klenc Rd. The doors are always open.
