Dennis Voland Obituary
Dennis Arthur Voland, 86, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan. He was born on April 16, 1939, in Kiel to the late Harold and Leone (Dedering) Voland. Dennis graduated from Kiel High School with the Class of 1957. He then went to work at F. W. Woolworth Company for 17 years before starting at Hibbing Taconite in their plant retiring in 2001.
He was united in marriage to Marie Caroline Ziegler at St. Peter St. Paul Reformed Church in Kiel.
Dennis had a strong faith and was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He had a major role in helping with the remodel of Trinity's Ministry Center and he also volunteered at Neat Repeats in Plymouth. Dennis enjoyed fishing with friends in Canada and hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his wife Marie, children; Denise Vicari, Kevin (Margaret) Voland, and Denis Voland, brother-in-law William Ziegler and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tom (Beverly) Voland and sister JoAnn (Alex) Ehlert.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan, with Pastor John Berg officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the CHURCH. Inurnment will take place at Saxon Cemetery in Cleveland.
