Dennis Lynn Voreis

Dennis Lynn Voreis, 66, died in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Virgil and Lois Jean (Langley) Voreis in South Bend, IN.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Jean Voreis; grandparents: Raymond and Marian (Morgan) Langley and Ralph and Ethel (Working) Voreis; a nephew, Ryan Voreis; and his beloved dog and best friend, Scrappy.
He is survived by his father, Virgil C. Voreis; a brother, Richard Voreis; Nephew, Brett (Lucy) Voreis; Great-Nieces, Cora and Ella Voreis; Nephew, Josh (Chrissy) Voreis; Great-Nieces Mikenzie Voreis and Dani Cox; Great Nephew, Mikel Cox; Sister, Cindy (Meleah) Voreis; Niece, Mariclar (Brian) Hall; Great-Nephew, Jacob Hall; Great-Niece, Emma Hall; Nephew, Brian (Jelena) Blocker; Great-Nephews, Keirin, Kolby and Milo Blocker; and a Great-Niece, Madison Blocker.
Dennis served as an Aircrew Life Support Specialist in the Air Force. He served at Moody AFB in Valdosta, Georgia.
After his military service, Dennis served his community in heating and cooling service, repair and replacement. Other jobs included Kremo Bakery, Consolidated Marketing Service in Elkhart, and his final job at Ridge Napa Auto Parts in South Bend.
Dennis enjoyed his family, friends, fishing, NASCAR and his beloved pets. Dennis was a generous and caring person- always giving a helping hand to those in need. Dennis kept his family entertained with his unique sense of humor and was a man with a heart of gold.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Comfort One Hospice or Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group.
