Dennis White Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. - Sterling Heights on Jan. 30, 2026.
WHITE, Dennis David. January 28, 2026. Age 80. Beloved husband of Debra 'Debe Cakes' (nee Wiltse) for 21 wonderful years. Loving step-father of the late Tammy Lynn (Donnie) Durham. Proud and adored papa of Brandon, Garrett, DJ and great-papa of Tammy Marlene. Cherished brother of Maureen (Mike) Lawler, Joyce (Mark) James, Louise (Doo Ming) Yee, the late Craig White and Mike (Laura) White. Dear brother-in-law of the late Richard (Stephanie) Sacquetry, Daniel Wiltse, Martha Lorenzo, the late Catherine Wiltse. Survived by loved nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Born in Detroit on March 14, 1945, to the late Floyd and the late Margaret White. Dennis passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity. He was known for his big heart and his willingness to do anything for anyone. Dennis found joy in spending time in his garage, always tinkering, fixing, or figuring out how things worked. He also loved fishing and hunting, cherishing the quiet of the outdoors and the sense of peace those moments brought him - especially the time he spent sharing those passions with his buddy DJ.

Dennis was a dedicated worker who spent 30 years as a hand grinder before retiring at the age of 65 from Rex Precision. He was a longtime resident of Madison Heights and a longtime member of the Madison Heights Eagles and the VFW Men's Auxiliary.

Dennis will be remembered for his gentle spirit and his unwavering readiness to help others. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 14th, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3206, 604 W. 11 Mile Rd., Madison Heights at 2pm.

Please share memories with the family at their "On-Line Guestbook" at WujekCalcaterra.com.
