Dennis George Wieland

Dennis George Wieland, age 71, of Powell, Ohio passed away at home on Friday, December 19, 2025. He was born on February 9, 1954, in Painesville, Ohio to the late Arthur Charles Wieland and Mina Mae (Walker) Wieland.
Dennis graduated from Chardon High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University.
In his younger years, Dennis loved playing basketball, football, and baseball with his brothers and school friends. Later in life, he enjoyed playing golf.
Dennis was always a sports fan, whether it be him playing the sport or watching them in person or on television. He was a huge Cleveland Cavaliers, Guardians, and Browns fan. Dennis also loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a kind, giving man who will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
Dennis is survived by his brothers, Phillip Wieland and Wayne (Penny Hutchison) Wieland; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved furry friend, Katie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mina Wieland; and sister-in-law, Mary Wieland.
