Dennis Bruce Wolf of Eustis passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Dennis was born on April 21, 1938, in Lexington, Nebraska to Gottlieb John and Viola Vera (Hueftle) Wolf. He graduated from Eustis High School. When he was a junior, Dennis was chosen to represent his high school at Nebraska Boys State. He dedicated his career to serving the community through various jobs. Dennis began working at local stores and took on farm jobs during high school. He then spent approximately ten years at The Skelly Station under Ray Grabenstein, followed by a fulfilling 30-year career at KN Energy, from which he retired. Dennis married Margo Elizabeth Koch on June 30, 1959 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Holdrege. Their union was blessed with 3 children, Cindy, Tracy and Brett.

Beyond his career, Dennis cherished spending time with his family and engaging in activities that brought joy to his life. He enjoyed fishing and spent many days hunting with his loved ones. He had a passion for making homemade German sausage, a skill passed down from his father, and shared the experience with his children. In addition, Dennis found pleasure in playing cards and cribbage with family and friends, which cultivated lasting memories and strong bonds. He and his wife, Margo, enjoyed going to auctions, collecting pottery, and attending their grandchildren’s events and activities, creating a warm home filled with love and treasured items.
Dennis's life was marked by cherished memories, including being baptized on March 17, 1940, at Eustis Evangelical Church. He was confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church after he and Margo were married, and remained a member until his passing.
