James H Wolf, 84, of Chicago, at rest March 9, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Mary Jill Wolf nee Burke; loving father of Jamie (Anne-Marie) Wolf, Caroline (Tom) Mansour, John Wolf, Katharine (Thomas "Ben") Dunn, Daniel (Katie) Wolf and Edward Wolf; adored grandfather of Nora, Joseph, Emma, Burke, Ava, Olivia, Jack, Nolan, Charlotte, Rory, Jim and Marty; fond uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many. James was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jill, his parents Herbert and Catherine, and his brother in infancy William. James was a gifted trial attorney and a dedicated member of St. Mary of the Woods Parish for many years. Visitation Friday, March 20, 2026 9:30-11:30am with mass to follow at St. Mary of the Woods Church 6955 N. Hiawatha Ave. Chicago, IL 60646. Interment Private.
