Denny was born on June 12, 1933 in Coushatta, Louisiana and passed away peacefully on April 21, 2024 at his home in Shreveport, Louisiana
He served in the Koren War as a member of the Air Force.
Denny was “the man at the top”, that people went to for help of any kind. Whether it was repairing a vehicle, bringing food to needy families or taking money from his own pocket to help someone with a need, people knew they could always depend on him. He came by the name ‘dependable Denny’ honestly. He truly had a heart to help people.
Denny was a Commercial driver. Throughout his driving career he drove over a million and a half accident-free miles. Even after he acquired his own company he continued to drive because he loved the job. He also had great satisfaction in providing employment for men who needed help caring for their families.
Denny is preceded in death by his parents, Green and Vesta Rigdon; brothers, Bobby Rigdon, Jackie Rigdon and Wayne Rigdon; sisters, Evelyn Rigdon, Louise Stothart, Lucille Hendricks, and LaNell Dean.
