Denny "Brett" Wiley of Stanberry, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his home on February 26, 2026. Brett was born on January 17, 1988 in Albany, Missouri. Brett was loved by many for his big heart, warm smile, and passion for cooking and generous and selfless nature.

Brett grew up in Gentry County, Missouri and later in Perry, Iowa. He returned to Missouri graduating from Worth County R-3 in 2006. After high school, Brett completed training at L'Ecole Culinaire in St. Louis specializing in French cuisine. Brett had many interesting stories to share about his culinary career, including traveling the world, working in Las Vegas, Paris, Germany, and other places around the world including locally at Wabash Junction and Deb's Dinky Diner. Brett's creative talents went beyond his culinary skills, and he also enjoyed playing the guitar, creating art, and writing. He will be remembered for his deep love of others and gentle soul. Brett was also passionate about sports, especially MMA and the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs.

Brett is survived by his mother, Becky Parman, of Stanberry, Missouri; father, Denny Wiley, of Albany, Missouri; brother, Jared Loch, of St. Louis; sisters, Traci (Cree) Beverlin of Albany, Missouri and Tisha (Dan) Wiley of Rockville, Maryland; and brother by choice, Micheal Whiton (Brittany).
