Funeral services for Derek will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, April 12, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., at the Safford Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Jonathon Stailey of the Safford Seventh Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, April 11, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home and Wednesday afternoon, April 12, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m., at the Safford Stake Center Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Those who would like to attend the services via Facebook Live can join on Vining Funeral Home's Facebook page, Wednesday afternoon, April 12, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. (MST).
