Dan was an incredible advocate for education. We all enjoyed our meetings with Dan for a good belly laugh. He was a great storyteller, a brilliant man and fiercely dedicated to his family and this community. He will be missed.

There are good men and great men. Only if we know the path they walked can we tell the difference. To be a great friend doesn´t mean we must call or text daily. It means we have a special relationship that allows each of us to make our own decisions and know that it will be respected by the other. That simple understanding is what keeps us knowing we are beneficial to each other. I will miss you Great Friend

Our condolences to the family of Dan Farar. We are like so many families who were blessed for knowing him. You really couldn´t know Dan without knowing his entire family.
Somehow the Farar family had a way of making you feel like you were one of theirs.
Faith, family, friends and community was always at the center of everything Dan did.
Our boys grew up in the LDS sponsored Scouting program. Positive youth build camping experiences that Dan as a scout leader along with others was a key part of. He had a contagious sense of community that made you want to participate with and support him.
There are many families like ours whose story of their Yuma life has been made better because the Dan Farar family was there contributing to it.
Thank you Farar family and Dan, for being the kind of people that you want to know.
Knowing individuals and families like yours is the reason why living in Yuma was one of the best decisions our family could have ever made.
In the words of the gospel hymn "Till we meet again ".
With all our prayers, love and respect.
Thank you Dan and the Farar family for being such a tremendous influencer in our community.
Respectfully
Carmen and Samuel Colton Sr
