Derick Dean Lewis

Derick Dean Lewis was born on July 20, 2008, and departed this life on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at University Medical Center at the age of 17 years old. He was the beloved son of Sabrika Lewis County and the late Walter County Jr. and Leroy Brock. Derick was the cherished grandson of Walter and Audrey County, Sherman Brown, Janice Brock, and the late Madell Lewis. He was lovingly raised by his caring mother figure, Avanette Narcisse.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his sister, Jazlyn Mosley, along with a host of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family; pastors, officers, and members of Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, neighboring churches of St. Bernard, Orleans, Plaquemines Parishes, the staff at QC Meraux and students of Chalmette High School are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 28, 2026, for 11:00 a.m. at Christian Fellowship Worship Center, 5816 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA 70092.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 am-11:00 am Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, LA 70127.
