Llowellyn George Brown

Llowellyn G. Brown, Sr., a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the age of 71, surrounded by his loving family. He was a proud 1972 graduate of Joseph S. Clark Senior High School and later attended Delgado Community College. Llowellyn also honorably served in the Air Force National Guard. At the time of his passing, he was a faithful and devoted member of the Society of Knowledge, an interdenominational ministry. Llowellyn was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of 42 years, Constance Williams Brown; his son, Llowellyn G. Brown, Jr.; his grandson, Andre Brown; his uncle, Robert Brown; his godmother, Saundra Ann Medina (John); sisters-in-law Brenda Williams, Sybil D. Williams, and Lena L. Brown; brothers-in-law Frank Williams Jr. (Shelyander), Thaddeus Williams, and Derald Chriss; and his close cousin, Danatus King, whom he loved as a brother. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Brown, Sr.; his mother, Elise Mercadal Brown; his brother, Joseph Brown, Jr.; and his sister, Cabrini B. Jefferson. Family and friends are invited to attend a Homegoing Celebration on Thursday, February 26, 2026, for 10:00 a.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans, Louisiana.
