Michael Calvin Argue

Michael Calvin Argue was born to the union of the late Mary Harris Argue of Laurel Hill, Louisiana and the late Morris Argue, Sr. of Woodville, Mississippi on April 9, 1960. On the morning of December 31, 2025, Michael fell asleep in the arms of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He attended grade school, middle school and Alcee Fortier High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Michael was employed by both Benson Mercedes Benz and Charity Hospital for many years. He was also employed by Tulane University for the past 12 years as a shuttle driver. He went on to marry the late Sonja Washington and born to that union was Jessica and Malik Argue. Michael was a kind person once you got to know him. He was a huge sports fan of both the Saints and Pelicans. He is survived by his daughter Jessica Argue, and son Malik Argue, grandsons Juelz Gordon, Malik Argue Jr., sibling Patricia Williams of Raleigh, North Carolina and girlfriend Tiffany. Michael is also survived by two aunts; Nellie Bazile, Kathlene Amanda Lang, and one uncle; Theodore Brown. Micheal is also survived by four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his wife Sonja Argue, and his brother Morris Argue, Jr. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, January 16, 2026, for 1:30 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126.
