Derrick Lewis Mohrmann

Derrick Lewis Mohrmann, 39, of Versailles, Kentucky, passed away in March 15, 2026 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Derrick was born on September 20, 1986, in Georgetown, Kentucky, to Ricky and Lisa Mohrmann.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda (Moore) Mohrmann; his parents, Ricky and Lisa Mohrmann; his sister, Kayla (Mohrmann) Smith; his nephew, Maverick Smith; and his grandmother, Arona Kelley, mother-in-law, Melissa Biles; his father-in-law, Michael Biles. Derrick also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will remember him for his warmth, humor, and the deep love he had for his family.

Derrick loved fishing, cooking, listening to old school rap music and playing with his dog, Marley. He will always be remembered for the love, laughter, and memories he shared. Derrick will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.

There will be a gathering to honor Derrick at The Little House 247 Lexington Street in downtown Versailles. Sunday March 22nd from 1pm to 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Derrick's honor to the Woodford Humane Society or Kentucky Fish and Wildlife.
