Greer, SC Derrick Keith Sams Derrick Keith Sams, 37, of 703 Blackwell Road, Greer, SC, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his home. Derrick was born in Cape Fear, NC on August 21, 1980 a son of the late David Paul Sams and Sylvia Sams Roddy of Greer. In addition to his mother he is survived by a daughter, Breana Burney-Ballew, of Spartanburg, SC; a son, Chase Vickers, of Boiling Springs; a sister, Dana Shamp (Daniel), of Wellford, SC, three brothers, Darrell Lee Sams , of Greer, SC; Dewayne Sams (Kellie), of Myrtle Beach, SC; Steven Lovings, of Greer, SC; three nieces and three nephews, Victoria Perry, Alexander Shamp, Brianna Sams, Brinley Sams, Bryson Sams and Brandon Sams. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 5:00 - 5:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 24th at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, SC with Rev Jack Caldwell officiating.
