Derrick was and always has been a great friend. His visits were always welcomed. We were always happy to see him. It was with tremendous sadness to hear of his passing. I know in my heart he's looking down on everyone he ever cared about. He was there for me during a dark period in my life. I miss him so much. My heart goes out to his family. I'm so sorry for the loss of a great and loving man.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We loved Derrick. I met Derrick so many many years ago. I was in my teens when I met Derrick. We lost touch. But I thought and still do think of him often. He always had a smile for me. I will still always think of him. He will forever be in my heart and thoughts. My condolences to all of you. There's an Angel looking down on you now. Im so sorry for your loss
