Desiree Marie Hernandez

Desiree Marie Hernandez, 34, passed away on January 1, 2024, in Fontana. Her passing has left a significant void in the lives of her family, friends, and colleagues. She was warm and kind-hearted and touched many lives with her compassionate nature and infectious smile and laugh. Her legacy will live on through the memories and love she shared with those who knew her.
She was born on December 28, 1989, in San Bernardino, California, and grew up in Fontana with her loving parents, Daniel and Camille Hernandez. She was one of seven children: Daniel Jr., Lisa, Julie, Ginny, Irene, Frank, Michael, and Christina. She attended Fontana schools throughout her childhood, graduating from Fontana High School in 2008.
Desiree enjoyed attending music festivals and spending time with her loved ones during her free time including venturing into cosmetology and becoming a hair stylist for a brief period. She was a devoted mother to her son, Isaiah, and granddaughter, Abrielle, whom she adored dearly. She was also a caring daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Desiree's dedication to her healthcare work was evident in how she cared for her patients. She worked as a manager at a hospice care facility, building strong relationships with her coworkers and patients. All who knew her will greatly miss her compassion, kindness, and professionalism.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Daniel and Camille Hernandez, siblings Daniel Jr., Lisa, Julie, Michael, Christina, Irene, Frankie, her son Isaiah, and her granddaughter, Abrielle, as well as her several nieces and nephews, Antoinette, Jazmin, Marky, Gloria, Andrew, Raymond, Michael, Andrew, Preston, Franky, Luna, and Jhen.
The visitation hours and funeral service are open to all who wish to pay their respects and celebrate Desiree's life. Visitation hours will be 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2024, and the funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Ingold Funeral And Cremation.
Desiree's family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support from the community during this difficult time. They appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share their memories of Desiree and express their sympathy.
