Desmond when became friends when we both started in the same training class for Comcast. You had such an amazing smile and were always there for us when ever we needed help or just a good laugh. I remember I use to tell you your handwriting was incredible. Your notes for work were so insanely beautifully written in the smallest handwriting. I actually think of that whenever I see my handwriting getting messy and I think Man I need to write like Desmond. Ha! - You´re gonna be missed and may your daughter´s life be blessed moving forward and that she remember how incredible you were. I am blessed to have known you as a friend and saddened by the loss of you.

So sorry to have missed the chance to know you in your adult life. I only have wonderful memories of you as a fun, loving and highly intelligent kid. Unfortunately lost touch with your family. I truly regret not searching sooner to reconnect.
My deepest condolences to Wendy and Jackie.
With much love, ~ Wanda (now in NJ)

My heart was sad when I heard of Desmond's passing. I am not sure it took a year. Desmond worked for me for a number of years. He was known for his large smile and always showing up. No matter the circumstances, he always seemed to keep an optimistic attitude and a straightforward approach. He was kind and welcoming to everyone. I admired his ability to rise above the circumstances of his childhood and move forward in life. Most people get stuck. Our world has less sunshine in it now that he is no longer with us. Sending prayers and blessings to the family for peace in what I am sure were many joyful memories.
