Deuma Ann Wilson Hixenbaugh, 87, of Owensboro, passed away May 18, 2018 at home. She was born in Ohio County to the late Mirt D. and Dora Ann Stewart Richardson. Ann was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed flower gardening, crafting, collecting cardinal figurines and was a long time member of the American Legion Post 9 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Catholic faith. She worked at the Cigar Factory and retired from American Olean Tile. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hixenbaugh. She is survived by a son, Mike Wilson; daughters, Pamela Lane, Debbie Payne (Ronnie) and Tammy Lott (Steve), twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday May 24, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Fr. Carl McCarthy officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
