Devin Lewis Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 7, 2025.
Devin Rae Lewis, 39, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on October 26, 2025.

Born on July 9, 1986, Devin was a bright and intelligent young woman who brought energy and compassion to those around her. A 2005 graduate of Mount Notre Dame High School, she excelled academically as a straight-A student and was an accomplished athlete, playing both basketball and volleyball.

In 2000, Devin and her siblings moved to California to be with their father, a time that helped shape her adventurous and caring spirit. She later pursued a career in massage therapy, becoming a licensed massage therapist-work that reflected her natural gift for helping others.

Above all, Devin was a devoted mother who cherished her children deeply. She loved spending time with them-whether playing games, fishing, or enjoying the great outdoors. One of her most special memories was a family trip to Disney in 2018, a joyful moment that she treasured.

Though Devin faced struggles with addiction over the past decade, she continued to be loved and supported by her family. Her story is one of resilience, love, and the enduring hope of those who knew her best.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ronald and Sharon Lewis.

Survivors include her maternal grandparents, Steve (Maureen) Vietor and Barbara Connor; her mother, Lisa (Jim) Downton; her father, Stephen (Melisa) Lewis; her children, Alexander Hargis and Ariana Ivey; her sister, Abby (Alex) Georgilis; her brother, Christopher Lewis; half-brothers, William Downton and Braeden (Kylie) Lewis; step-siblings, Alex (Kelsey) Downton, Jay (Lauren) Downton, Mary Kate Downton, Max and Abby Savage; her aunt, Melissa (Michael) Echegaray; and several cousins and other relatives who loved her dearly.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
