Devin Michael Repath

With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Devin Michael Repath, 26 years old. Devin was a man with the biggest heart, known for his ability to make everyone feel loved, welcomed, and included. He could talk to anyone and have them laughing no matter his or her background or beliefs. Devin was a devoted partner to Sheylli, cherishing her and their two beloved sons, Carmelo and Liam. His love for his family was boundless, and he could often be found at the playground with the boys, playing in a volleyball or corn hole tournament, or grabbing some food with family and friends. Professionally, Devin excelled as an elevator mechanic, earning the respect of his colleagues and coworkers. His passion for his work was evident, and he took pride in his accomplishments. Devin's love for life extended to his hobbies and interests. He was a fan of the Pelicans, enjoyed vacations to the beach, and loved white water rafting. His presence alone was basically synonymous with smiles and laughter. Devin came from a large, very close family that he loved so much. He was a beloved son, a protective brother, and a loyal friend. Dev also embraced Shey's family as his own. He had a unique ability to bring people together, turning strangers into friends and friends into family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to support Sheylli, Liam, and Melo during this difficult time. Contributions can be made through the GoFundMe campaign established in Devin's honor. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6PM until 8PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8PM. Interment will be privately held at a later date. Rest in peace, Bub.
