DeVonne Kolling Obituary

DeVonne L. Kolling was born February 14, 1949, to Billy Dee and Arlene (Jansen) Smith in Brownsdale, Minnesota. Her family then moved to Sioux Rapids, Iowa. DeVonne graduated from Sioux Rapids High School in 1967. She then continued her education at Spencer Beauty School in 1968. On July 14, 1979, DeVonne was united in marriage to Allen Kolling in Montevideo.
DeVonne worked in the insurance industry for many years at Insurance by Strehlow in Willmar. She loved her job and enjoyed everyone that she worked with.
DeVonne enjoyed reading, diamond painting and watching True Crime.
DeVonne is survived by her children: Shanna Nathe, Shayla (Mitch) Neal, and Derek (Wendy) Kolling; her grandchildren: Remington, Scout, Regent, Lily, Sela, Taylor, Kensingtyn and Graydin; great-grandchildren: Everlee and Liam. DeVonne is also survived by her sister: DeDee (Vic) Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; parents; and step-father Ralph "Cy" Wills.
