Dewayne Hall

Dewayne passed into the arms of our lord on November 15th, 2025 at the age of 64.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on December 18th, 1960 to the late Henry Lawrence Hall and Doris Jean (Stone) Hall.
Dewayne graduated from Somerset High School (Class of 1978). He was an Electrician by trade and had a Doctor of Motors Degree and was Head of Maintenance for Marriott in Indianapolis until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dewayne is survived by his wife, Kimberly Mae (Eyster) Hall of Greenwood, IN; daughter, Amanda Mae (Hall) Burton and her partner, Deric Garris of Greensburg, IN; grandchildren, Hailey Jean Schermerhorn of Shelbyville, IN, Daniel William Schermerhorn of Greensburg, IN, and Shelby Dawn Burton of Smithfield, RI; as well as his two brothers, Henry Melvin Hall and (wife, Kimberly Ann Hall) of Somerset, KY; Larry Dale Hall and his partner, Shonda Miller of Somerset, KY; As well as many other extended uncles, in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was a hard-working and loving husband, brother, father and grandfather. He was always assisting anyone in need with any jobs big or small. He had a love for muscle cars and Harley Davidson and enjoyed science fiction literature and television. He especially had an unmatched love for his pet cats. He spent these last three years battling cancer and a heart condition which had taken a toll on his body. He passed peacefully in his sleep with his wife of 45 years by his side. Services will be 1 P.M. on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Jessen Funeral Home in Whiteland, Indiana. Burial will be at Rocklane Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
