Born in Highland, Indiana, on April 13, Greg was the beloved son of George and Claire Harveth. He dedicated more than 30 years of his life to teaching, where he inspired countless students, and also served as a Girls' Golf Coach, sharing his love of the game. Later in life, Greg continued his commitment to service as a Stephen Minister, offering guidance and compassion to those in need.
Friends and family will remember Greg for his love of the Chicago Cubs, golf, his devotion to the Indianapolis Colts, and his pride in Indiana University.
His warmth, humor, and steadfast dedication to others left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Greg is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Rita; his Mother Claire, sister Sue (Rhett), brother Gary (Joann); children/step-children, Josh (Leanne), Zach (Mary), Tony (Christina Turner) and Natalie (Mike Robinson); nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, George Harveth.
