George Richard Harveth III

George Richard Harveth, Ill, 93, of Moundsville, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Moundsville Healthcare Center with his loving wife by his side.
He was born on December 21, 1930 in Moundsville, West Virginia, a son to the late George Richard and Nellie (O'Neil) Harveth, Jr.
George was a devoted husband, father, and pap who cherished his family above all else. He found joy in spending time outdoors, tending to his garden, relaxing on his porch, grilling delicious meals, and taking refreshing swims in his pool.
George had a wonderful sense of humor and could always be counted on to share a joke or a funny story.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jenny Fowkes, and infant daughter, Peggy Mae Harveth.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Donna Harveth; son, Richard (Nancy) Harveth; grandchildren, Mike (Bri) Harveth, Lisa Harveth, Neil (Stephanie) Fowkes, Joanna (Doug Pell) Fowkes; great-grandchildren, Zara, Luke, Gia, Nevaeh, Aleena, Cameron, Ella, and Rilynn.
Per George's wishes there will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to Grisell Funeral Homes and Crematory 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville, West Virginia 26041.
