Diana Sue Hamblen, 77, passed away on November 7, 2025. Born on October 10, 1948, and raised in Ashland City, Tennessee, Diana was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt who never met a stranger and always tried to help where she could.
She was preceded in death by her father: Wiseman Eugene McClendon, her mother: Betty Frank McClendon, her brothers: Jimmy McClendon and Wayne McClendon, her sister: Betty McClendon, her husband: John Hamblen, her sons: Timmy Agee and Willis "Bubba" Agee, her grandson Tyler Agee, and her granddaughter Shannon Agee.
Diana is survived by her children and their spouses:
James Agee and his wife Teresa Agee,
Donald A. Agee and his wife Ashley Agee
John Dale Hamblen,
Dale L. Hamblen,
and Roy Brown and his wife Shelley Brown.
She is also lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren:
Ashley Agee, Jessica Agee, Haylee Agee, Zackary Agee, Winston Agee, Nathaniel Agee, Toby Agee, Tyler Agee, Joshua Agee, Jilian Hamblen, Micheal Kanai, John Chase, Christina Few, Brandon Few, and Dylan Hamblen, and Lyric Brown.
Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren:
Buddy, Shannon, Bryson, Penelope Bois, Oakley, and Laney Agee.
Diana was a longtime member of Impact Christian Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She loved fishing, one of her favorite pastimes, and she could often be found enjoying the peace and quiet of the water.
Her family will always remember some of her favorite sayings. When it was time to get moving, Diana would say, "Go, went, gone," a phrase that will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her. And as her family liked to joke, "If you want someone to know, tell a Sue-telegram." Diana had a way of making sure news traveled, laughter was shared, and no one ever felt alone.
She didn't know a stranger and greeted everyone with the same warmth and openness she gave to her family. Diana will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who were blessed to know her.
