After graduating from high school, Maurice enlisted and proudly served in the United States Navy before being honorably discharged. He was lifelong truck driver.
Maurice is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Connie Phelps; triplet sisters, Toni, Tracy, Tina; brother Jerry, and sister, Colleen; two stepdaughters Crystal and Stacy, and 7 grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents Eldon and Lois Phelps; brother, Terry; sister, Leanne McDowell; and his twin sister, Denise Rees.
