Words can never describe the loss our family has with Uncle Dewey's passing. He was not only an uncle and brother-in-law, he was a friend and a father. He will be missed more than can ever be imagined by others. We love you so much, have fun with all the other family in heaven. Eat as much as you want and we will join you one day to eat for a year. Our love - Glenda, David, Eddie & Becky

God speed Dewey, I will never forget you're smile or all of the little goodies you brought me when you would pick up a load at the railyard.

Mildred and Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dewey will be missed greatly. It just won't be the same, walking into Adkins store without seeing that grin and receiving a hearty, 'what's going on, Gravy?' I'll miss our talks about the ups and downs of the trucking business and life in general. I learned a lot from those talks, and had a good belly laugh or two in the process.

Well done, 'Governor'...you've made it to your most important stop.

Mildred and Family,

I sorry to hear about your loss. He was a great person and he loved to joke around with my daughter and also taught her that ketchup and mayo on fries wasn't a bad thing. We will greatly miss him.

Mildred and family, Dewey will be missed greatly by all, he was a friend to everyone he met and there will be an emptiness to not see him at the diner in the mornings to discuss the good things in life and how to fix the rest.
