Mr. Eillis, 82 years old, died at Jackson Madison County General Hospital on Saturday, November 15, 2025. He is a member of Long Heights Baptist Church, a retired businessman, and a heavy equipment operator. He was born in Greenfield on March 2, 1943, to Benjamin F. and Eva Doster Ellis.
He is survived by his wife Jane Ellis of Gleason, two daughters Sonja (Dr. Doug) Eliand of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Lori(Keith) Robertson of McKenzie, Two Step-daughters Tonya (Jeff) Miles of Troy and Tammy (Stacy) Collins of Gleason, five grandchildren Allie Eiland ( Lindsay), Lesley (Jonathan) Davidson, Jillian ( Andre) Curtis, Luke( Katelyn) Robertson, and Clint (Kelly) Eiland and five step grandchildren Mallary (Sam) Beutler, Jacob (Lindsey) Hodges, Rebecca Hodges, Kaitlyn (Zeke) Henderson and Keaton (Emily) Collins, five great grandchildren Cooper, Callie, Ridley, Thomas and Patrick Ace and five Step-great grandchildren Esme, Wilson, Ruth Collins and Millie.
He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ellis and two brothers, William Ellis and Buddy Ellis.
