Dewey J. Hall, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away peacefully at his residence on September 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 1, 1948, in Rosedale, Dewey was a proud graduate of Marysville High School, class of 1967. He dedicated 34 years of his life to his career at MDC at Scott's, a testament to his strong work ethic and commitment.

Dewey’s life was a tapestry woven with love for his family and a passion for community involvement. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed spending his free time golfing and gardening. In his younger years, he also played softball, showcasing his active spirit and love for sports. Perhaps one of his proudest accomplishments was coaching little league baseball for many years, where he took great joy in helping to establish the original Marysville Mitts team.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia (Hoffman) Hall, whom he married September 6, 1986; his children, Becky (Brian) Thomas of Kenton, Travis Hall of Marysville, Barb (Greg) Scheiderer of Marysville, and Tiffany (James) Nicol of Medina; and his grandchildren, Jayson (Kaylee) Scheiderer, McKenzi (Connor) McCreary, Sarah (Hunter) Purdy, Garrett (Addie) Thomas, Riley Nicol, Hannah Scheiderer, Taylor Nicol, Greyson Hall, and Cameron Sindelar. Dewey also cherished his great-grandchildren Lillian, Miah, Norah, and Oaklynn Scheiderer, Harper Purdy, and Hattie McCreary.

Dewey was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary (Lewis) Hall; his sister, Elizabeth Cornelius; and his brothers, Doug, Gary, Ron, Danny, and Terry Hall, as well as his brother-in-law, Vernon Cornelius.

Services to celebrate Dewey's life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel, Marysville. Pastor Tim Smith will officiate and burial will follow at the Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hope Center or the American Heart Association. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilsonfuneralhomesinc.com
