Dian she was a very special Friend and Co-worker to me. We gained a friendship that was so awesome. We'd have long talks just about anything from kids to just life in general. The laughs we used to have. We also had many lunches and dinners together just sitting and laughing the whole time. She was my hero, I'd go to her and talk about just anything. We had planned to get together that weekend to have dinner together. Our last words in person we're I love you girl. My heart is so heavy now. Seems like I've lost a piece of me. She will be so truly missed and the love will last forever. I love you girl until we meet again.

Dian had an infectious personality and once meeting her, you wanted to be surrounded by her and you´d never forget her. Even though we lost touch over the years, I often thought about her. She was kind, generous, a great cook, and had a great sense of humor. She was a lover and advocate of many things- animals, meeting new people, living life, and her daughter Hannah. Hannah, one of the purest souls you´ll ever meet will be I my thoughts and prayers.
A true loss for everyone.

It still doesnt feel real. I worked with Dian for over a decade and we spent many moments away from work. We laughed and enjoyed the time we soent with each other and in the last week were trying to line up our various work and social schedules so we could spend time together again. My heart and all my love go out to Hannah. The world is just a bit darker now, her light was so bright.

I'm so sad that this happened to Dian. She was such a great person and a great friend. I hate that her life was cut short when she was so looking forward to the next stage in her life. I have so many great memories of times we shared. I'm glad she was a part of my life. She will be greatly missed. I'm heartbroken for Hannah and the rest of her family and will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Dian at Wake County. I just recently retired in April of this year and had let Dian know of my upcoming retirement. She wish me the best and said she was looking forward to doing it soon. She was a pleasure to work with and always had a good disposition. My thoughts and prayers are with her daughter and the rest of her family. She will truly be missed but will be remembered for the kind and great person that she was.
