Diana C. Fallon, 91, of George Washington Highway, Lincoln, passed away on Thursday March 14 in RI Hospital, Providence, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late William F. Fallon, Jr.
Born in North Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph S. and Jesuina (Pimental) Ramos. She had lived in Lincoln for 1.5 years previously living in Smithfield. Diana had been a bookkeeper with the Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield for many years before retiring in 1997.
She was a great cook and loved to bake. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, staying current in their lives. She also was an avid knitter with her grandchildren being recipients of her creations. Active member of St. Michael's Church Social Justice Committee.
She leaves her daughters, Patti Lynn Trapp of Rapid City, SD, Sandi Marie Gonsalves and her husband Henry of Lincoln and Wendi Ann Waters and her husband Steven of Smithfield. She was the grandmother of Taryn Smith, Kay Marie O'Neill, Henry "Bubba" Gonsalves, Megan Bergeron, Hannah Waters and Fallon Waters. She was the great-grandmother of Christian Kreun, Kaci Kreun, Lilly O'Neill, Thomas O'Neill, RJ Bergeron, Eli Bergeron, and Gia Gonsalves. She was the sister of Sandra Barter and her husband Leo of Smithfield.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday March 19th at 9:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Tuesday morning from 8am to 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Michael's Church Social Justice Committee, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917 or the Atria Senior Living Activities Fund, 612 George Washington Highway, Lincoln, RI 02865
