Diana Johnson, 74, passed away on October 26, 2025. Services will be Friday, November 7, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11` am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, 840 S. 26th Street. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.

Diana Johnson was born on March 8, 1951 to Joseph Thompson and Louise Avery in Bardstown, KY. She was the oldest of five children. She is preceded in death by her Mother Louise Avery, her brother Dewayne Williamson and Granddaughter Desiray Shawana Johnson.

Diana retired from Louisville Gas and Electric company after 30 plus years of service. She was a long-standing dedicated member of Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, where she serviced on the Usher board for many years. Ushering was more than a service for her, it was her labor for Christ. When asked about retiring from ushering, she stated "she will continue to service the Lord until she is called home". Diana was a woman with a servant heart, always prepared to help wherever needed, even if it meant sacrificing her own comfort.

Diana Johnson left this world to enter her everlasting life on October 26, 2025. So, when you think about her in your quite time; remember the love she shared for her family and friends. Remember her beautiful smile, tight hugs and loving spirit. Diana spoke life and Christ into everyone she encountered.

Diana leaves to cherish her memories, a loving son; Desmond Andre Johnson. Grandchildren; Demesha Andrea Johnson, Desmond Andre Crawford, Ta'Keirah Dreanna Jackson, De'Riyah Miracle Lewis. Great-Grandson Dasaughn Ray Burdine. Sister; Wanda Thompson, Theresa "Shell" Randolph (Stanley), Shante Thompson. Nieces, Nephews and many friends.
