Diana Garcia Perez, 60, of Lubbock went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2023, with Daniel Garza officiating. Services were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.
Diana was born on October 16, 1962, in Lamesa, to the late Acencion “Chon” and Lucia (Lopez) Garcia. Later in life she met her life partner Carlos Perez Jr. and cherished forty-two loving years together. Diana was a homemaker and always enjoyed cooking for her family. Whenever she could, Diana loved going to rock concerts, making jewelry, playing with her dogs, and going on cruises. However, Diana’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents Acencion “Chon” Garcia and Lucia (Lopez) Garcia, and her brother Arthur Lopez Garcia
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Carlos Perez III and Oscar Garcia Perez (Evelynn Guerrero); her loving partner Carlos Perez Jr.; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren all of Lubbock.
