Diana J. Reber

1937 - 2025

Diana J. Reber, 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sept. 9, 2025. Born Oct. 29, 1937, in Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late George and Julia (Radich) Sudor. Diana was a longtime member of St. Agnes Church, where she volunteered in the school cafeteria, and was active in the Circleville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the North Irwin Women's Club. A beautician by trade, she also worked in the Norwin cafeteria and later took pride in serving as bookkeeper for the family business, Astro Automation. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, sewing, and playing piano but was happiest cooking and baking for her family. Above all, she cherished her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Diana and her beloved husband, James F. Reber, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary and shared a long and happy marriage. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred DeAngelis, Betty DeBerardinis, and Estelle Bianchi. She is survived by her children, James M. Reber (Barb), Jackie DiNuzzo (Mark), Eileen Burkhardt (Bob), and Aimee Schmidt (Ralph); grandchildren, Stephen Reber (Sana Seth), Jason Reber, Matt DiNuzzo (Chelsea), Anthony DiNuzzo (Eleanor), Chris DiNuzzo, Grant Burkhardt, Nicole Reilly (Dan), Lucas Burkhardt, Will Burkhardt, Tyler Schmidt, and Connor Schmidt; great-granddaughter Eloise DiNuzzo, and another great-grandchild on the way. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon (please go directly to the church), followed by interment at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Norwin Area Meals on Wheels.
