Diana Rimcoski Obituary
Diana T. (Tomcheski) Rimcoski, 91, of Bristol, beloved widow of the late Michael B. Rimcoski, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on July 4, 1934, in Bristol, Diana was the cherished daughter of the late Walter and Amelia (Maddic) Tomcheski. She was raised in Terryville and graduated from Terryville High School before making her home in Bristol in 1966, where she built a life filled with family, faith, and friendship. Diana dedicated 46 years of loyal service to Cigna Insurance before retiring, a testament to her strong work ethic and commitment. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church in Bristol, where her faith was an important part of her life. Above all, Diana loved spending time with her family, creating countless treasured memories that will be forever held close. She found great joy in knitting and crocheting, often crafting with care and love. Her gentle presence, warm heart, and quiet strength touched all who knew her. Diana will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all whose lives she graced.
Diana is survived by her son: Jeffrey Rimcoski and his wife, Danielle of Bristol; two grandchildren: Michelle Fleckner and her husband, Zachary and Melissa Andrade and her husband, Jeffrey; and three great-grandchildren: Olivia Fleckner and Jeremy and Charlie Andrade. She was predeceased by her daughter: Linda Ann Rimcoski; her sister: Marjorie Kloskowski; and her niece and nephew: Theresa and Daniel Kloskowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (December 29, 2025) at 11 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Ave., Bristol. Relatives and friends may call on Monday at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.. Jeff, Danielle,Michelle and Melissa,
I am saddened to hear of your mom/grandmas passing. Diane was such a wonderful person. Her love of her family was unbelievable. She always smiled when she talked about you all. So happy that was able to enjoy her great grandchildren. I worked with Diane for many years and also graduated with Linda from St. Paul. Oh how she missed Linda. Now she is able to be reunited with her as well as Mikey. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and continue to cherish the wonderful memories of your mom/grandma.
