Diana Sharp, of Clifton, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Chandler, Arizona. She was 60.
Diana was born in Morenci, Arizona to Rachel and Pete (Gabby) Montoya on March 20th, 1963. She later graduated from Clifton High School in 1981.
She married Wayne Sharp Sr., and with him had 3 children: Raquel, Wayne and Phoebe. She was an amazing mom, wife, and friend to all who knew her and loved her. Diana was a free spirited woman, who enjoyed her friends and family, and had a great love of music. She loved and took care of anyone who needed it. Her home was open for all of her loved ones, who she cared for and treated as her own.
She worked a lot of different jobs, but mainly in contracting for the mine. She also did her fair share of work in restaurants and was an excellent cook. She took pride in working and supporting her family.
Diana is survived by: her husband, Juan Aguinaga; her children, Raquel Sharp, Wayne Sharp Jr. and Phoebe (Scott) Lamb; her grandkids, Mary-Jane, Michael, Marleyna, Athena, Artemis, Apollonia, Eliyah, Elysia and Silas; and her sister, Donna Montoya.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Rachel (Castaneda) Montoya, Pete (Gabby) Montoya; her brother, Steven Montoya; and her late husband, Wayne Sharp Sr.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clifton by Rev. Nathaniel Mma.
A rosary and prayers will be offered Friday, February 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., also at the church.
