Diana Marie (Keno-Quaw) Thunder, age 82, passed away on Thursday March 19, 2026, in Shawano. Diana was born on October 28, 1943, in Zoar to the late Dewey and Helen (Awonohopay) Thunder, Sr. In 1961, she was united in marriage to Bernard Doud, Sr. at Zoar. The couple spent a wonderful 59 years together before Bernard’s passing in 2022. Diana lived most of her life in Zoar and was a member of the Big Drum. She enjoyed going to Pow Wows, playing scrabble and was an avid Packer Fan.

Diana is survived by her children, Bernard (Laura) Doud, Jr., Dewey (Emily) Thunder, Sr., and Deanna Mohawk; 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; adopted mother, Elizabeth Roberts; siblings, Dennis (Mary Ann) Wynos, Merwin “Petey” (Terri) Wynos and Martin Wynos, Sr.; special friends, Katie Fank and Nan Tucker. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Diana is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, Sr.; children, Melvin VerHaagh and Melaine VerHaagh; brother, Darwin Thunder; and grandchildren, Alizah Martin, Dewey Thunder, Jr., Craig Thunder and Lynnacia Jack; and parents, Dewey, Sr., and Helen Thunder.

A Traditional Big Drum Service will be held at the Zoar Ceremonial Building with visitation starting on Friday March 20, 2026, from 3:00 pm until Sunday at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at 2:00 pm at the Thunder Burial Grounds.
