Diane Barnes

Diane Barnes, age 80, of Ft Walton Bch, Fl. passed away peacefully at her home on August 8, 2025

Diane was born in Troy, Al to Grace Margaret Barnes- Foreman and Charlie Lee Lewis

Diane was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age. Diane was a faithful member of First Community Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Fred Smith. Diane attended school in Pike County before relocating with her family to Ft Walton Bch Fl. Diane worked for Metric System Inc. for over 21 yrs. retiring in 2004. Later recording a self-titled CD with the single "Without the Lord" in 2009 and a greetings card business as well.

Diane is survived by her Children: Billy (Carol) Barnes of Crestview, FL, Daniel Barnes, of Fort Walton Beach, Cynthia Washington and Latonia Spurlock, both of Colorado Springs, CO; Grandchildren: Laquilla West, Sasha Jones, Tia Washington, Shanece Washington, Sharmaine Whang and Shamarie Jackson Grandson: William Barnes; Siblings: Keith Foreman, John (Dora) Foreman, Rodney (Shanta) Foreman, Janice (Marc) Jenkins, Phyllis Morris, Tracy Foreman, Aunts: Billie (Phillip) Goudy, Linda Carney, Uncle: Alfred (Evelyn) Barnes, and a host of cousins and friends Marva Hills, Margaret McLemore, Sheila McKinnie,

She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Barnes, Parents Leroy & Grace Barnes- Foreman, Father Charlie Lee Lewis Grandparents: Thomas & Lillie Barnes Aunts: Dorothy Cephas, Sisters Mary Jean Barnes and Sandra O. Barnes-Scaife.
