Diane Hedy Bordelon Skiff

Diane Hedy Bordelon Skiff passed away on April 10, 2025, in Ocean Shores, Washington, after a long battle with breast cancer. 

Committal service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Cemetery #1, Cottonport, LA.

Diane was 69 years old, having been born in Tacoma Park, Maryland, on November 17, 1955. She lived most of her adult life in Alaska but requested to be entombed in Cottonport, a place where she had many happy childhood memories of visiting her grandparents in Longbridge. Although she never lived there, she considered Cottonport to be her true home. She was preceded in death by her father, Derrill Joseph Bordelon, and brother, Peter Esnard Bordelon. She is survived by her mother, Ingrid Beers Renou of Bauge, France; one brother, Claude Bordelon of Kentucky; three half-sisters, Nadine, Ina, and Birgit; one niece, Suzanne; and numerous cousins.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
