Diane Rowland Cook, 65, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Diane was born on March 29, 1960. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. She enjoyed spending time cross stitching and gardening. Diane had a nurturing heart and a special love for cats. Her presence will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Frank and Emma Viola Rowland; husband, Sam Cook; and sons, Charles Allen Cook and Samuel Ethan Cook.
Diane is survived by her brother, Michael Rowland and wife Terri; nephew, Nicholas Isaac Rowland and wife Kindall; great-niece, Ruthie Kate Rowland; great-nephew, Beckett Isaac Rowland; special sister-in-law and caregiver, Peggy Cook Brooks; brother-in-law, Ben and Judy Cook; sister-in-law, Sami Cook; aunt, Betty Haga; several cousins; and special caregivers, Robin Schwarz, Haley Fleenor; and several others that loved Diane dearly.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
