Dee Dee Revering, the daughter of Merlyn and Louise Ann (Werner) Cox, was born on June 1, 1945, in Litchfield. She grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1963. She then went on to further her education and graduated from Northwestern with a degree in lab and x-ray technology in 1965. On May 17, 1969 she was married to Michael Patrick Revering at the Church of St. Philip. They moved to Litchfield and built a home “behind the old byway” in 1971. She worked as a lab and x-ray technician, then as an instructor at ProWorks in Litchfield.
Dee Dee loved everything outdoors. She particularly enjoyed gardening, grouse and deer hunting, fishing, and spending time at the cabin. In her earlier years, she was great at teaching everyone how to waterski. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and being the #1 grandma.
She is survived by her children, Tony (Jeanise) Revering of Dassel, and Ann (Tom) Schumacher of Eden Valley; her grandchildren, Tristan Revering, Madison Revering, Michael Schumacher and Ava Schumacher; her siblings, Phyliss (Burt) Thulin, Jennifer Olson, and John Cox; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, brother, Jim Cox, and her parents, Merlyn and Louise Cox.
Dee Dee will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
