Mrs. Diane Kay Dopf, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Life Care Center of Cleveland after a brief illness. She was 77 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at North Cleveland Church of God in the Dixon Chapel with Pastor Kevin McGlamery and Leonard Albert officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN with Poole Funeral Home of Cleveland directing. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Poole Funeral Home of Cleveland, 3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd, Cleveland, TN 37311. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home at www.smch.org and donate to (Simple Elegance).
Mrs. Dopf was born August 14, 1947, in Columbus, OH to the late Richard and Marylin Roberts Swisher. Mrs. Dopf worked at Marathon Oil as a bookkeeper for over 20 years. In 1996 Diane and her husband Ronald moved from Findlay, Ohio to Cleveland, TN and she went to work with the Church of God Cleveland, TN office and was employed here as a bookkeeper for more than 20 years. Mrs. Dopf loved cooking for her family and anything to do with arts and crafts. Mrs. Dopf also loved singing in the church choir.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Dopf, of Cleveland, TN; her brothers, Bob Swisher (Deb), and Aaron Swisher; her sisters, Amy Swisher and Debbie Swisher; nieces, Leslie Marshall (Rob); nephew, Ryan Swisher (Sharra), John William Fuller (Nichole), Dr. Jordan Fuller, and Bryant Fuller (Cydney); great nieces and nephews, Ali Shalala (Josiah), Breyson Shalala, Asher Shalala, Brielle Shalala, Tanyon Franks, Corbin Marshall, Delaney Marshall, Reid Swisher, Blake Swisher, Elliana Swisher; sister-in-law, Beverlie Fuller McDonald (Patrick).
