Diane E. Drezdzon passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 10, 1936, Diane was the beloved daughter of Alvin and Myrtle Kowske (née Rohr).
Diane was a remarkable woman-an extraordinary homemaker and a master of all trades. Her vivacious nature and large personality filled every room she entered. She found joy in baking, sewing, and creating beautiful wedding cakes that became the centerpiece of all of our weddings, to name a few. She had an adventurous spirit and traveled the country attending music festivals and visiting family. Diane was an avid collector and seller of antiquities of all sorts and found great joy in decorating her lake house and riding her pontoon boat. Above all, Diane's greatest love was for her family, and she devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and now great grandchild.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Laurie, Susan, Jim and Pete; grandchildren: Dylan, Brooke, Brianna, Andrew, Stuard, and Jenny; and great-grandchild: Ashley. Her siblings, Marlene, Nancy and Sharon, who preceded her in death, her beloved dog Lizzie and all of her pets. Diane will also be deeply missed by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members.
She was preceded in death by Walter Bartaczewicz, her first husband, and Edward Drezdzon, who passed away too early for his time.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the start of services at 11:30 a.m., at Prairie Home Cemetery Chapel, 605 S Prairie Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial and luncheon will follow.
Her generosity, strength, and loving spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
