EAST GREENBUSH - Diane B. Earing, 79, of East Greenbush, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family, after a brief battle.
Diane was born October 26, 1944, in Hudson, N.Y., the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Miller) Balint.
Diane was an Administrative Assistant for the Town of East Greenbush Building Dept for over 30 years before retiring. She was passionate about spending summers at the family camp in Owl's Head, N.Y. with her many friends there. Diane enjoyed working the polls on every election day, loved her friends at the East Greenbush Senior Center, and was involved in many community events every year.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Paul Earing; and her two sons, William D. Kramer, and Scott P. (Christine) Earing. She was the proud Oma of Haley M. Earing, and Jaxon R. Earing. She is also survived by her brother, Gene (Maureen) Balint; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Don (Grace) Balint Sr., and Kathryn Metz.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 4-7 p.m., Thursday, October 10, in the Wm. J. Rockefeller funeral home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. A funeral will follow in the funeral home at 7 p.m.
