Obituary published on Legacy.com by St. Louis Cremation - Florissant on Mar. 3, 2026.
Diane Lucille Fair passed away peacefully, surrounded by close family and friends, on February 28, 2026, after a brave battle with ALS at age 65. Diane was born on November 26, 1960, and raised in Florissant, Missouri.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Lloyd Montgomery and Catherine Maria Montgomery (nee Fair). She is survived by the love of her life, Darren McBroom, along with her children – Neal (Amy) Toth, Nathan Toth and Christina (Tim) Geldmacher. She was a very proud Grammy to Landon and Amelia. Diane is also survived by her brothers – Jim (Cherie) Montgomery, Mike Montgomery and Richard Montgomery, as well as many dear friends, co-workers, colleagues and pets – Finn and Pita.

Diane will always be remembered for her strength, bravery and kindness. She was a nurse for over 20 years and took such pride in her work. Among the places she worked were St. Luke's and Gentiva Hospice. Diane was well known throughout the hospice world as a fantastic, incredible nurse – everyone wanted her in their corner. She cherished her family, friends and co-workers and always made sure they knew they were loved
