Diane Ruth Farrah

Diane, of Farmington Hills, a loving wife, aunt, and cherished friend, unexpectedly passed into eternal life on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the age of 83.
Diane was born on February 18, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Albert and Olive (Phillips) Lutz. She lived a life full of love, creativity, and laughter. She married Henry "Hank" Farrah on September 7, 1963, in Detroit.
Diane was a gifted and passionate crafter, always pouring her heart into her projects. She was known for her honesty and directness, never shying away from sharing her opinion, but always with a spirit of kindness. Her sharp wit, good humor, and infectious laugh endeared her to all who knew her.
A dedicated professional, Diane worked as an administrative professional for over 30 years at Burroughs, a business equipment manufacturing company in Plymouth. Her dedication, attention to detail, and work ethic left a lasting impression on her colleagues.
Diane and Hank loved traveling, exploring new places, and creating beautiful memories along the way. She deeply valued time spent with loved ones, offering warmth, support, and wisdom to her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Henry "Hank" Farrah, and numerous nieces and nephews, who will forever treasure her love and guidance. Diane was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia, Ronald, and Pamela, whom she has now joined in eternal peace.
Diane's loving spirit, humor, and creative energy will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Family and friends may gather for Diane's funeral ceremony at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington, on Saturday, February 1, from 9:30 am until the 11:00 am Funeral Ceremony.
Interment in the Glen Eden Mausoleum will immediately follow.
A luncheon is being planned to further celebrate Diane's life at a venue announced upon the conclusion of the interment.
