I am just now seeing this. Diane and I were childhood friends in the Panamá Canal Zone. We were in the 8th and 9th grades together. She had some awful plastic jewelry I made for her in 8th-grade shop. I loved going to her parents´ house for stuffed cabbage and then to the base bowling alley. When my family and I left the Canal Zone in 1961, Diane and her family came to wave goodbye. Diane loved turquoise ink! A great friend and tennis partner. May she rest in peace and in the arms of the Lord.

I worked with Diane as a Paraprofessional in her classroom for several years at Cornerstone. She was a very dedicated teacher and the students loved her. My son even had her for First Grade. She spoke often of her kids and her grandchildren. I Wish I was able to be at her service today but unfortunately I have to work today. She was a wonderful teacher and friend. She will be missed dearly. We lost touch after she retired.
Special prayers for the family. Love, Bev Steinbach
